How to take care of your ceramic clay products?
Teacups, saucers, teapots, breakfast bowls, bowls and serving plates etc.
Our Teacups, saucers, breakfast bowls, bowls and serving plates are all hand glazed. They are dishwasher safe, however some of them may loose the original shine after the extended dishwasher use.
Although all the ceramic clay products go through 2 firings at 1050°C, they should not be exposes to extreme temperature changes.
We DO NOT take responsibility for broken, cracked or chipped products resulting from the dishwasher use.
We DO NOT recommend the Microwave use.
Our clay jewelry
Our clay jewelry items are all hand glazed. They will last for years with proper care. Please treat as you would care for other fine jewelry, and remove before swimming or showering. Clean with a soft moist cloth.
Although all the ceramic clay jewelry components go through 2 firings at 1050°C, they should not be exposes to extreme temperature changes.
In order to enjoy your clay jewelry for a long time, it is important that you follow a few basic and very simple rules:
Store your jewelry in a jewelry box or in a silk or velvet bag designed for this purpose, preferably each piece of jewelry separately.
Do not expose jewelry to chemicals.
Do not expose jewelry to extreme temperature changes.
Perfume can damage the glaze, it should never be applied directly on the clay.
Most of the jewelry can be damaged by chlorine, thermal changes and sea water which may damage the metal components or clay, which are glued together.
Clean the jewelry only in solutions with cloths especially designed for this purpose. There is a wide range of special cloths and solutions for jewelry cleaning.
Jewelry made of clay must be protected from strong shocks or falls as it may crack, break, chip or even shatter into small pieces.
Clay Jewelry should not be scratched with a nail, a steel nail or another sharp object.
